Next up in our special Q&A series, we are sharing an interview with one of our Country Division Site Managers, Kastro Leka.
An inspiring interview for those looking to carve out a career in construction and the possibilities that can be had as a result of hard work and dedication.
My journey with Knowles started 12 years ago. I was young and fresh on the tools but had lots of ambition to learn and progress in the construction industry. As the years have gone by, I have worked my way up and am now a Site Manager at Knowles.
Teamwork, trust, and a supportive environment. I always make sure to keep an open mind and listen to others. By considering multiple options and suggestions, I am able to find the best solutions.
Knowles has been extremely successful over the years, and I have had the opportunity to be part of the team working on some of the most prestigious projects. The directors put their trust and support into each and everyone one of us, providing opportunities to people like me to grow and develop.
My advice would be to not hesitate and take opportunities as they come. I would also say work hard and be patient, your time will come, and everything is a stepping stone in the right direction.
My defining moment was two years ago when we completed one of the most impressive country projects, that I was grateful to be a part of. The client was extremely happy with the finished result, which gave both me and Knowles a huge sense of pride and achievement.
