Project Announcement | Knowles Appointed as Principal Contractor on 10th Avenue Road Project

Knowles is pleased to announce our appointment on phase 1 works for a new super-prime private residence on Avenue Road, our 10th Avenue Road project.

Located on one of London’s most exclusive streets, this prestigious property is set to undergo a remarkable transformation.

The final design, led by HBA Residential, reflects a deep respect for the property’s heritage and its surrounding architecture, while reimagining the residence with a refined sense of modern luxury.

Knowles Structures will expertly deliver Phase 1, which includes enabling and substructure works. This phase will involve the near-total demolition of the existing building and the excavation of a new 4,500 sq ft basement. The full scope of works encompasses the creation of this subterranean level, supported by reinforced concrete slabs, pile lining, and a comprehensive groundwater management system.

The project will then shift its focus externally, concentrating on the partially retained historic brick façade and associated roofing works.

With works commencing earlier this summer, this project presents an exciting opportunity to reimagine a historic home and introduce a bold new vision of modern living on one of London’s most sought-after streets.

‘Inspired by the site’s layered history and natural surroundings, this design scheme thoughtfully weaves together elegant contemporary pieces with subtle historical references. The result is a refined and inviting family home, where a sense of place meets the highest level of comfort and craftsmanship.’ – Katie Earl, Creative Director at HBA Residential

Knowles is proud to once again collaborate with HBA Residential in delivering this exceptional residence.
