A typical mews road, located near Sloane Square, Pavilion Road otherwise known as ‘The Dutch House’ has gained its name from the large Dutch cable built at the rear of the house. As with all properties of this type, all façade features are retained to ensure localised aesthetic remains protected.
Knowles’ scope of works included the 3, 600 sq/ft basement excavation, which was formed in reinforced concrete with steel and concrete floors added up to the first floor, above and including the roof which will be steel and timber, with a new traditional lead and slate roof to complete the new structure.
