Avenue Road in St John’s Wood is undergoing an “unprecedented” luxury building bonanza, with nearly £1bn-worth of super-prime homes in the development pipeline on just one street.” PrimeResi states. “Six new mansions have been built on Avenue Road in the last three years, with a combined value of £370mn.” One of which is Knowles recently completed super prime private residence.

Knowles acted as Principal Contractor from the outset and saw this super-prime project from concept to completion. The scope included the demolition of the existing house, extensive basement excavation down to a double depth of 12m to and spanning 5700 sq/ft 5, above-ground superstructure works, full landscaping works and complete delivery of the luxurious and high specification finishes.

Benefiting from choosing to incorporate a basement into the project, the additional space allowed for the inclusion of state-of-the-art leisure facilities including a swimming pool, spa complex, sauna, and steam room, as well as an entertaining room, at home gym, guest bedrooms, commercial kitchen space, staff living and even an at home hair salon.
