Knowles is seeking a Health and Safety Assistant to join our in-house Health and Safety team based in our Marylebone Head Office, but covering all Knowles projects across London & Country.

As a Principal Contractor specializing in high-end residential projects across London and the Home Counties, we offer an excellent opportunity for growth and development in construction safety.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the safety team across all projects
  • Engaging with all team members and stakeholders at various levels
  • Assist in planning and organizing safety protocols, while also contributing to administrative tasks.
  • Provide vital Health & Safety input and implementation in project pre-commencement
  • Participate in training designed to advance the role towards a Safety Advisor position or higher.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of construction, building design, or strong administrative skills with a willingness to interact across all seniority levels.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • IT literate with a drive to learn and develop.
  • Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress within the organization.

This is a full-time position with training provided. Competitive pay rate based on experience. Legal eligibility to work in the UK is required.
