PROJECT WIN | Knowles appointed as Principal Contractor for a Luxury Townhouse on Eaton Square

Knowles is delighted to announce that we have recently been appointed as Principal Contractor at a prestigious project on Eaton Square, Belgravia, London.

Commencing in July 2021, Knowles’ scope of works, under a design and build contract, includes the demolition of the two rear mews properties and formation of a basement under the footprint of the property, standing at a size of 1000 sq/ft. The mews properties will then be rebuilt to create two separate dwellings.

The scope of works for the main house includes delivering major structural alterations to the townhouse, which include restoring the property back to the original configuration of two townhouse dwellings, totalling 10,000 sq/ft. The project is due for completion in May 2022.

Noted as one of London’s most desirable addresses, Eaton Square features Grade II listed properties with white stucco facades. The elegant buildings are terraced in a classical style with elegant mews and communal gardens. A series of blue plaques can be found in the area, commemorating noteworthy residence from Vivian Leigh to Neville Chamberlain.
