Knowles qualified for membership to ASUCplus, the Associated of Structural Underpinning and Construction, in 2016 having committed to and undergone rigorous audits including:

Knowles was launched in 2010 by Robin Knowles who started London’s first and largest basement company in the 90’s and whose experience surpasses 20 years in basement construction. Robin Knowles is largely seen as the pioneer in London Basement Construction, having commercialised residential basements 20 years ago.
As a result of the membership, the ASUC Insurance Backed Guarantee Scheme is available to Knowles and the company will now be one of the very few construction firms qualified to operate in the prestigious Grosvenor Estate in London.
ASUCplus is an independent trade association originally formed by a number of leading contractors to promote professional and technical competence within the subsidence industry, but now also includes underpinning and subsidence repair techniques, engineered foundation solutions and retrofit basement construction.
