Knowles’ High Street Kensington Site Awarded 41/50 By Considerate Constructors

Knowles is pleased to announce that our incredible team at our Kensington High Street Project have been awarded a score of 41/50 on the recent Site Report by the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The team were commended on their “very high standards of code compliance” with the “initial impressions remaining exceptional, the highlight being the magnificent die-bonded hoarding and wrap to the front elevation.”
Vinod, Knowles’ Site Manager was highlighted for “clearly demonstrating his commitment to the local community and the collaboration and support for neighbours and third party stakeholders is exemplary.”
Appearance 9/9
The site was awarded a 9/9 for its appearance thanks to the team keeping the hoarding “immaculate”.
“The site hoarding is probably the most striking and impressive that I have seen in my 7 years as a Monitor and along with other exemplary practices and procedures fully deserves the exceptional score again awarded.”
Community 8/9
The team were scored 8/9 for their respect to the local community. Vinod was praised for his clear understanding of the sites potential impact on those affected by the works, as well as his engagement with Local Authority and TfL representatives.
Safety 8/9
The team received 8/9 for their care about safety, with “robust practices and procedures in place on this complex construction project supported by a regular inspection regime.”
Workforce 8/9
“Vinod’s natural open door management style continues to shine through and there were a couple of examples of the respect he has from his team during the visit. Additional facilities may be introduced when operative numbers increase. Opportunities to use the extensive Scheme resources available remain to assist in raising Code awareness.”
Environment 8/9
We would like to congratulate the team on their well-deserved score and commend them on their ability to represent the company.
